AviaAM Leasing converts second B737-800 in Guangzhou AviaAM Leasing’s is on track with its recent entry into a passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversion project, including the Boeing 737-800 series and a commitment to convert 25 aircraft of different types over the next four years. The conversion of the second Boeing 737-800 aircraft was completed by the Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Company (GAMECO) facility in Guangzhou, China. CDB Aviation Signs International Aircraft Lease Agreements for Five A320neo Aircraft with Avianca CDB Aviation, a wholly owned Irish subsidiary of China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co., Limited announced the signing of international aircraft lease agreements with Colombia’s flag carrier Aerovías del Continente Americano S.A. Avianca (“Avianca”) for a fleet of five Airbus A320neo aircraft with deliveries from the lessor’s order book planned for 2022 and 2023, the aircraft are leased on a long-term basis and configured with three different seat types: Premium, Plus, and Economy. China's general aircraft fleet to reach 45,000 by 2040 China's general aviation market is maintaining growth with the general aircraft fleet forecast to reach 45,000 by 2040, said the latest market outlook released by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Ltd. (AVIC). By 2040, the total flight hours of China's general aviation are forecast to exceed 8 million hours, the market outlook said. The key growth drivers include pilot training, entertainment and low-altitude tourism.
