AIP Capital and Monroe Capital Announce Aircraft Leasing Venture
AIP Capital announced it has formed a venture with Monroe Capital LLC, a premier asset management firm specializing in private credit markets and asset-based finance, to acquire a diversified aircraft leasing portfolio of up to $1 billion of investments, consisting of mid-life aircraft on long-term lease to airlines globally.
AIP Managing Partner Jared Ailstock said:
“We are excited to announce this partnership with Monroe Capital Alternative Credit Solutions. This venture provides scalable and stable capital; critically, it enhances value to our global airline customers and lessor trading partners even as capital markets have increased volatility.”
Avelo Airlines Celebrates One Year at Lakeland International Airport
Avelo Airlines celebrated its first-year anniversary at Central Florida’s Lakeland International Airport (LAL) and launched two new routes to Long Island, New York and Grand Rapids, Michigan, both operating twice weekly using Boeing 737-700/800 aircraft.
Avelo Airlines Founder and CEO Andrew Levy said:
“It’s our one-year anniversary in Lakeland as we continue to Inspire Travel with two new routes to Long Island and Grand Rapids. These routes expand Avelo’s affordable, convenient, and industry-leading, reliable air service, introduced to the Central Florida region in June 2024. Jackson Square Aviation Closes PDP Financing Agreement with Aircalin for Two A350-900s
Jackson Square Aviation announced the successful closing of a significant PDP financing agreement with Aircalin for two Airbus A350-900 aircraft. This milestone represents a series of firsts for Jackson Square Aviation: a new customer in Aircalin, a new jurisdiction in New Caledonia, and the deployment of a standalone PDP financing structure with new business partners Natixis and Bred Banque Populaire.
Jackson Square Aviation Head of Asia Pacific, Marketing, David Jones stated:

Twelve Boeing 737NGs Secured in Largest Aircraft Deal for Aventure
Aventure Aviation announced it has acquired twelve Boeing 737NGs formerly operated by Alaska Airlines. The aircraft, MSNs 30013, 30014, 30015, 30016, 30017, 30018, 30019, 30021, 30856, 30857, 33679, and 33680, will undergo teardown in phases in Arizona.
Aventure President Talha Faruqi said:
“This is a major milestone for Aventure…it’s by far the largest amount of aircraft we have purchased at one time. Each aircraft was owned and operated solely by Alaska Airlines for its entire lifecycle. This provides a well-documented service record from one of the world’s leading airlines, enhancing both traceability and component reliability.”
