CDB Aviation Delivers Three Boeing 737-8s to WestJet
CDB Aviation announced the delivery of three Boeing 737-8 aircraft to Calgary-based WestJet, further strengthening their ongoing partnership. The aircraft will support WestJet’s fleet expansion strategy while aligning with its cost-efficient operating model.
Luís da Silva, Head of Commercial, the Americas at CDB Aviation, noted that the companies have built a strong relationship since their first transaction in 2020, with CDB Aviation having financed and leased a total of 13 737-8 aircraft to the airline to date.
De Havilland Canada Delivers OEM Refurbished Dash 8-400 to TrueNoord
De Havilland Canada delivered one OEM refurbished Dash 8-400 aircraft to regional leasing specialist TrueNoord. The aircraft will be placed on lease with Nexus Airlines.
The OEM Refurbished Program combines the reliability of a new-production aircraft with tailored upgrades to meet operator requirements, offering a cost-effective and high-performance solution for regional networks. Ryan DeBrusk, Vice President Sales and Marketing at De Havilland Canada, stated that the delivery reinforces growing demand for the Dash 8-400 platform among expanding regional operators.
Werner Aero Purchases Airbus A319 Airframe
Werner Aero announced the acquisition of an Airbus A319 airframe, MSN 3790, strengthening its aftermarket inventory portfolio. The purchase supports the company’s strategy of investing in high-demand platforms to serve airlines, MRO providers, and leasing partners globally.
President and CEO Tony Kondo stated that the acquisition reflects Werner Aero’s continued focus on sourcing quality assets and maintaining strong supply chain relationships.
