IndiGo orders 30 Airbus A350-900 enters long-haul market

Air India announces first Airbus A350-900 route to Dubai

Tata Group owned Air India announced deployment of three class 316 seat Airbus A350-900 aircraft on the high frequency Delhi-Dubai route for Summer 2024, commencing on 1st May, operating AIC995/996 service departing its Delhi hub at 2045 and arriving in Dubai 2245. The return flight will depart Dubai at 0015 and arriving in Delhi 0455.

 

Air India Express selects AISATS AeroWash Services

Air India Express announced it has selected Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited (AISATS), revolutionary AeroWash service product. AeroWash enhances fuel efficiency, reduces carbon footprint, safeguards against structural damage, prevents corrosion, and extends the lifespan of the aircraft. IndiGo orders 30 Airbus A350-900 enters long-haul market

IndiGo announced its further defining its long-term future by strengthening its fleet with the introduction of 30 wide-body Airbus A350-900 aircraft plus 70 purchase rights for delivery from 2027 powered by Rolls Royce’s Trent XWB engines.  IndiGo stated “The mission capability of this aircraft coupled with the efficiency of the Trent XWB engine will offer IndiGo unprecedented optionality as it embarks on the next stage of its wonderful journey of addressing the rapidly evolving needs of the Indian customer and our nation.”

SMBC Aviation Capital delivers Airbus A320N to Air India

Dublin based lessor SMBC Aviation Capital announced the delivery of one Airbus A320-251N aircraft (MSN 12016) to Air India. The aircraft is the fourth of six A320-251N aircraft contracted for delivery to Air India from SMBC Aviation Capital’s direct order with Airbus.
