Abelo has announced a follow-on lease placement with SATENA for one ATR72-600 aircraft from its orderbook. The agreement follows the delivery of Abelo’s first ATR42-600 to SATENA in December 2025 and supports the airline’s regional connectivity requirements in Colombia.
SMBC Aviation Capital Upsizes Unsecured Global Syndicated Finance Facility To $3.7 Billion
SMBC Aviation Capital has finalised a $1.7 billion greenshoe upsize of its original $2 billion syndicated facility, bringing the total transaction size to $3.7 billion. The additional capital will be used for general corporate purposes following the acquisition of Sumisho Air Lease Corporation.
