AerCap Completes 204 Asset Transactions During Third Quarter

Dublin-headquartered AerCap completed transactions involving 204 aviation assets during the third quarter of 2026. Activity included 85 lease agreements, purchases of 32 aircraft and two helicopters, 85 asset sales and approximately US$900 million of financing transactions.

 

AERA Arranges US$300 Million Aircraft Portfolio Acquisitions

Aera Aviation Capital arranged the acquisition of two aircraft portfolios comprising eight commercial passenger aircraft with a combined value exceeding US$300 million. The portfolios consist primarily of Airbus A320neo-family and Boeing 737 MAX aircraft leased to a diversified group of full-service and low-cost carriers.

 

Avation Leases New ATR72-600 To CVSky

Avation has signed an operating lease with Cabo Verde carrier CVSky for one new ATR72-600 aircraft. The aircraft was delivered from ATR’s Toulouse production facility on 7 October, introducing CVSky as a new Avation customer and marking the lessor’s entry into the African airline market.
