Aviation Capital Group Grows Portfolio with Order for 50 Boeing 737 MAX Aircraft
Aviation Capital Group LLC (ACG) announced a new order for 50 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, comprising 25 737-8 and 25 737-10 variants, scheduled for delivery in 2032 and 2033. The order increases ACG’s 737 MAX order book to 121 aircraft, supporting growing customer demand for fuel-efficient airplanes. CEO Thomas Baker said, “This order enhances the strategic value of ACG’s orderbook, supports a key pillar of our growth strategy, and reinforces our commitment to the latest fuel-efficient aircraft technology.”
Delta Air Lines Orders Up to 60 Boeing 787 Dreamliners
Delta Air Lines placed a direct order for up to 60 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, including 30 firm 787-10s with an option for 30 more, to support long-haul growth and modernise its widebody fleet. The aircraft will serve high-demand transatlantic and South American routes. CEO Ed Bastian commented, “These aircraft will enhance the customer experience, support operational improvements, and provide steady replacements for older, less efficient aircraft, while being operated by the best aviation professionals in the industry.”
JSX Starts ATR Public Charter Operations
JSX has begun operations with its first ATR 42-600 aircraft, marking a milestone in its semi-private regional service. The airline will operate four ATR 42-600s in early 2026, each with 30 premium seats, spacious interiors, business-class legroom, high-speed internet connectivity, power outlets, and complimentary onboard amenities. CEO Alex Wilcox said, “The ATR 42-600 enables us to expand our hop-on service to thousands more airports while maintaining the premium experience our customers expect.”
