Air India Goes Digital To Manage Its Widebody Boeing Fleet
Air India has received DGCA approval to use Electronic Technical Logbooks as the primary technical document for its Boeing 787 fleet, with parallel implementation authorised across the Boeing 777 fleet. The move supports the airline’s digital transformation by replacing paper-based processes with real-time technical information for engineering, maintenance and operational teams.
Emirates To Debut A380 To Delhi From October
Emirates will introduce its A380 service to Delhi from 25 October, making the Indian capital its third A380 destination in India after Mumbai and Bengaluru. The aircraft will operate on flights EK512/513 in a four-class configuration, complementing Emirates’ retrofitted Boeing 777 services on its other daily Delhi flights.
IndiGo Launches Direct Flights Between Guwahati And Deoghar
IndiGo will launch direct flights between Guwahati and Deoghar from 4 August 2026, operating twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays. The service will strengthen connectivity between Northeast India and Deoghar, supporting pilgrimage, tourism and regional economic exchange.
