Acumen’s Take
On Air Cambodia And COMAC
Air Cambodia’s C909 order represents an important international step for COMAC’s regional aircraft programme. For emerging aviation markets, regional jets can support network development where airport infrastructure, demand levels and route economics favour right-sized capacity.
On BOC Aviation’s LEAP Engine Order
BOC Aviation’s large LEAP engine order reflects the strategic importance of securing propulsion capacity alongside narrowbody aircraft commitments. For lessors, engine availability and commonality remain central to asset placement, fleet support and long-term portfolio planning.
On CALC And Turkish Airlines
CALC’s A321neo agreement with Turkish Airlines highlights continued lessor participation in major airline fleet renewal programmes. The A321neo remains highly relevant for carriers seeking efficiency, range and capacity across dense regional and medium-haul networks.
