Acumen’s Take
As 2025 draws to a close, the aviation sector is clearly shifting from recovery to recalibration. Airlines, lessors, and airports are balancing growth ambitions with tighter capital discipline, digital transformation, and operational resilience. Narrowbody efficiency, cargo flexibility, and premium differentiation continue to shape fleet and network decisions. At the same time, leadership changes and regulatory pressures underline how fragile momentum can be without execution discipline. The year ahead looks less about expansion for its own sake and more about making existing strategies work harder, smarter, and more sustainably.
