Air Lease Corporation Announces new Boeing 737 lease deal with Royal Air Maroc
Air Lease Corporation (ALC) announced long-term lease contracts for five Boeing 737 aircraft with Royal Air Maroc (RAM), including one Boeing 737-800 and four Boeing 737-8 for delivery in 2024. Air Lease Corporation Executive Chairman, Steven F. Udvar-Házy said “ALC is pleased to announce this lease placement for five Boeing 737 aircraft with Royal Air Maroc. We look forward to building our long-term relationship with RAM as they continue to modernize their fleet and grow their network, as well as maximize their competitive advantage with the most fuel-efficient aircraft in the market.”
Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) Completes Record Month
Air Transport Services Group announced today that its leasing subsidiary Cargo Aircraft Management (CAM) has delivered a record six converted aircraft under lease in one month to customers around the globe, including two Airbus A321-200 delivered to Raya Airways (Malaysia), multiple Boeing 767-300 transactions Amerijet International Airlines (USA), Cargojet Airways (Canada), Georgian Airlines (Georgia), SkyTaxi (Poland). ATSG Chief Commercial Officer Paul Chase said "The global demand for our medium-widebody converted freighter aircraft has remained strong due to the continued expansion of global express and e-commerce markets. We are meeting this demand by continuing to deliver 767 converted freighters while also introducing A321 and A330 freighters to the market in 2023 and 2024 respectively."
Canadian North invests in Ottawa Cargo Facility
Canadian North announced plans to double the size of its existing cargo facility in Ottawa to meet growing needs of our remote and northern communities. In a joint investment of $22 million Canadian North and the Government of Canada are committing $11 million each. Canadian North CEO Michael Rodyniuk said “Our strategic expansion in Ottawa underscores Canadian North’s commitment to making life better in our remote and northern communities, beyond just delivering essentials, we’re investing in the future.”
