BOC Aviation to lease four Airbus A320neo aircraft to IndiGo

BOC Aviation announced that it has entered into a finance lease transaction involving four Airbus A320NEO aircraft with IndiGo. The aircraft are powered by CFM LEAP-1A engines, scheduled for delivery this year. BOC Aviation Managing Director & CEO Steven Townend, said “We are pleased to be closing another four finance leases with IndiGo. We continue to work closely with our long-time customer to support its expansion strategy as it builds a fleet of latest technology fuel-efficient aircraft. This is our first transaction in the year of the dragon, and it sets the tone for the year as we continue growing our fleet by investing in latest generation aircraft and partnering with high quality customers.”

 

CALC Orders 40 CFM LEAP-1A Engines

China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings (CALC) announced that the Group has signed the agreement for the purchase of 40 LEAP-1A engines with CFM International to Power Airbus A320neo Family Aircraft at Singapore Airshow 2024. CALC Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Mike Poon, said “We have long-standing relationship with CFM who has been a key partner of our sustainable growth over the past decade. Joining hands again, CALC will continue to invest in the in-demand latest technology aircraft and fulfill our commitments to driving a sustainable aviation through our one-stop green fleet solutions.”

 

StandardAero receives CAAC certification

StandardAero announced it has received Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) certification approval for its Rolls-Royce RB211-535 turbofan engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services. This approval enables StandardAero to provide RB211-535 MRO support to Chinese operators of the Boeing 757, who collectively fly approximately 70 aircraft, or almost 20% of the in-service RB211-535 fleet. StandardAero Airlines & Fleets Airline Sales Director – Asia Janice Ho, said “The RB211-powered Boeing 757 remains extremely popular with cargo operators in China, representing the second largest market for the type worldwide.  StandardAero looks forward to extending our existing relationships with operators in China, and to servicing the needs of new customers.”

 

Tibet Airlines finalises COMAC Aircraft order

Tibet Airlines announced finalisation of aircraft order for 10 ARJ21 regional aircraft and 40 Comac C919 from COMAC Aircraft Corporation at the Singapore Air Show.
