BOC Aviation signs Six Airbus A320Neo's with JetSMART Airlines BOC Aviation announced six Airbus A320NEO aircraft with JetSMART Airlines all six aircraft are powered by Pratt & Whitney’s PurePower® PW1100G-JM engines and are scheduled for delivery in 2024. JetSMART CFO Matt Bernier stated, “We are excited to work with BOC Aviation in the management of our fleet plans towards becoming the ultra low cost carrier in South America". EH216 Completes Demo Flight Tour  EHang announced that its EH216 AAV has successfully completed a demo flight tour across four cities in Japan in July. On 18th July EH216 made appearances to coincide with the 1,000-day countdown to the opening of the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. The recent unmanned demo flights in Japan included over-the-sea flights as well as point-to-point flights to validate the operation of the eVTOL. China’s Hubei Cargo Hub Launched  The Ezhou Huahu Airport in Ezhou city, central China’s Hubei province became the first professional cargo hub airport in Asia and the fourth in the world, according to cargo data sources, officially began operations on 17th July. The airport received its first aircraft to operate inbound was a Boeing 767-300F of SF Airlines and passenger flight operated by China Southern Airlines. The airport has a terminal of 15,000 sq meters, a cargo terminal of 24,000 sq meters and supplementary supply chain centre of 678,000 sq meters, with two runways and associated taxiways with an apron that can handle 124 aircraft, with headroom for growth up to 2050. L3Harris Signs MOU to enter Chinese Market L3Harris Commercial Aviation Solutions announced the signing an MOU to produce and develop flight simulators in China in collaboration with local firm Zhuhai Xiangyi Aviation Technology, to cater for growing demand in the region in the years ahead. L3Harris Commercial Aviation Solutions President Alan Crawford said “These exclusive discussions will explore how we can leverage each other’s brand strengths, production expertise, and geographical footprint to meet ever-increasing airline demands in the Asia-Pacific region.
