Ashland Place Announces Closing of Engine Facility Deals  Ashland Place Finance and Crestone Air Partners announced the closing of an engine facility financing 4 CFM56 engines on lease to Cebu Air, Inc based in the Philippines and TUI Airways Limited based in the UK Boeing Forecasts Demand for More than 41,000 New Aircraft Boeing projected demand for more than 41,000 new airplanes through 2041 with the release of its 2022 Commercial Market Outlook (CMO). The CMO forecasts a market value of $7.2 trillion for new airplane deliveries, with the global fleet increasing by 80% through 2041 compared to 2019 pre-pandemic levels. Jetstream Aviation Capital delivers an PC-12 to US carrier Jetstream Aviation Capital announced the delivery of one Pilatus PC-12 aircraft to US based carrier Southern Airways Express. The aircraft is part of an ongoing multi-aircraft commitment between Jetstream and Southern. The PC-12 aircraft will operate within the United States Lufthansa signs GE Engine Deal  Lufthansa Group announced an order for a combined total of 18 GE9X and GE90 engines to power its fleet of long-haul Boeing 777 freight aircraft. Lufthansa recently announced the purchase of GE9X-powered Boeing 777-8 Freighters and GE90-powered Boeing 777 Freighters to upgrade its cargo fleet. The engine order includes 14 GE9X engines and four GE90 engines. Lufthansa Cargo CEO Dorothea von Boxberg said “We continue investing in more fuel-efficient, quieter and more economical aircraft and engines that emit significantly less CO2. This purchase of GE engines enables us to drive our fleet modernization with premium products that enable increased operating efficiencies, as well as lower our fuel burn and reduce carbon emissions.” Vertical Aerospace Announces PDP with American Airlines for eVTOL Aircraft  Vertical Aerospace announced the commitment of associated pre-delivery payments (PDP) with American Airlines. The commitment to pay pre-delivery payments with confirmation of slot reservations for the first 50 aircraft , is an industry landmark as eVTOL aircraft enter development phase. Vertical Aerospace Founder & CEO Stephen Fitzpatrick said “We are delighted to have reached this major milestone with American Airlines on our eVTOL partnership. Together, we are making zero-emissions flight a reality for passengers travelling all over the world. We look forward to continuing our work with American and seeing the first red, white and blue VX4 come off the production line.” Voyageur Aviation add ATR aircraft to Portfolio  Voyageur Aviation has added ATR 42 and 72 aircraft types to its growing product portfolio and enhancing Chorus cross-company support capabilities.
