Air China to open Chengdu-London route in May Air China plans to open service from Chengdu to London in May as part of a West China international expansion strategy after British Airways (BA) suspended the route in January 2017. China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings appoints Chief Risk Officer China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings  (CALC) has appointed Ms. Hatty Cheung as the Group’s new Chief Risk Officer with immediate effect. Hatty will be responsible for CALC’s risk management and internal controls, and will report to Mr. Mike Poon, Chief Executive Officer. China Express Becomes First Regional Airline to List on Mainland China Express Airlines has become the country’s first regional carrier to list on the Chinese mainland, as the sector faces increasing competition from high-speed rail. The Guiyang-based airline, which was founded in 2006, announced on Friday in a prospectus that it has listed on ChiNext, a NASDAQ-style board under the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. China Southern Airlines receives first A321neo  China Southern Airlines has taken delivery of its first A321neo and first in-service in China. The airline currently operates 303* Airbus aircraft including 253 A320 Family aircraft (including 7 A320neos), 45 A330 Family aircraft and five A380s. Powered by Pratt & Whitney Geared Turbofan™ engine. The A321NEO is configured in a three-class cabin layout, (4 business, 24 premium economy and 167 economy class seats). The airline will operate the new aircraft on its domestic and international routes. DAE Delivers New A320-200 to China’s Air Guilin Dubai Aerospace Enterprise has announced that its leasing division, DAE Capital delivered an Airbus A320-200 aircraft to new customer, Air Guilin. DAE has agreed to lease two new Airbus A320 family. Kaman K-MAX commences operations in China Kaman Aerosystems announced at HAI Heli-Expo that the K-MAX helicopter has been certified by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), and operator Guangdong Juxiang General Aviation Co. Ltd, based in the Guangdong Province, has commenced operations with their K-MAX aircraft.
