Hainan Airlines reinstates Paris Charles de Gaulle route

Cathay Pacific increases Hong Kong-London capacity

Cathay Pacific announced increased capacity between Hong Kong and London in September to cope with demand for student travel at the start of the new college term and to meet outbound demand for Autumn Festival and National Day holidays. Cathay Pacific Chief Customer and Commercial Officer Lavinia Lau said “As we exited the busy peak summer months for passenger travel, we saw increased student traffic in September ahead of the start of the new school year, in particular to the UK. To cater for the strong demand, we increased the frequency of our flights between Hong Kong and the UK in September, with our services from Hong Kong achieving load factors of 98%. In addition to student traffic, there was a notable increase in outbound passenger travel from Hong Kong during the last week of September coinciding with the id-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays.”

 

China Eastern Airlines expands European route network

China Eastern Airlines announced the carrier is to launch a new route from Wenzhou Longwan International Airport to Madrid commencing 22 November operating twice weekly using Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

 

Hainan Airlines reinstates Paris Charles de Gaulle route

Hainan Airlines announced the carrier is to reinstate its Chongqing to Paris Charles de Gaulle route, effective November 29, operating weekly using two class Boeing 787-9 aircraft.

 

SF Airlines grows fleet

SF Airlines, China's largest cargo airline, has expanded its fleet to 85 freighters with the delivery of a Boeing 767-300F on October 17. It is the eighth aircraft to join its fleet this year to meet growing demand in the e-commerce market.
