IndiGo announces 83rd domestic destination

Airports Authority of India (AAI) commissions new Instrument Landing System (ILS) at Belagavi Airport

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) officially commissioned a new Instrument Landing System (ILS) at Belagavi Airport for CAT I operations, significantly enhancing operational flexibility. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) stated an IndiGo Airbus A320 successfully completed a trial operating to Hyderabad on July 31.

 

Air India connects Kolkata and Bangkok

Air India announced the carrier is to launch a new route between Kolkata and Bangkok commencing October 23, operating six times weekly using Airbus A320 family aircraft in two-class configuration. The carrier will enable connectivity to 10 popular destinations in Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia through an interline agreement with Bangkok Airways. Air India stated “Building a more robust network is a key element of Air India’s transformation journey and the new launch is in line with the airline’s commitment to expand connectivity and enhance frequency on its domestic and international sectors as it keeps augmenting the fleet with new aircraft.”

IndiGo announced the carrier is to launch new routes to Diu from Ahmedabad and Surat effective from 29th October. Diu is 83rd domestic destination and 115th overall destination on the growing IndiGo route network. IndiGo Head of Global Sales Vinay Malhotra, said "We are delighted to introduce these new routes from the coastal town, Diu, furthering our commitment to enhancing regional accessibility. These new connections will serve as a gateway for tourists seeking the charm of serene beaches with amazing sunset views. As we venture into new skies, connecting people with their favoured destinations.”

 

Star Air links Shivamogga to Goa, Hyderabad and Tirupati

Star Air announced the launch of three new routes connecting Shivamogga to Goa, Hyderabad and Tirupati from 21 November operating daily using Embraer 175 aircraft.
