Air India first phase of transformation program Vihaan.AI update

Air India has completed the initial stage of its Vihaan.AI program, a comprehensive five-year strategy aimed at transforming the airline. The first phase, known as Taxi, was designed to tackle the airline's legacy issues on a large scale, while also creating a foundation for future growth. With the completion of this stage, Air India has moved on to the second phase, Take Off, which will focus on developing the necessary platforms, processes, and systems to achieve excellence. Air India CEO & MD  Campbell Wilson said, “The first six months of our transformation journey has engaged and united Air Indians behind a common cause and made great strides in tackling many issues that had built up over the years. During this Taxi phase, we have also come a long way in establishing foundations for growth.”

Akasa Air partners with WebEngage to enhance customer experience

Akasa Air announced its to leverage WebEngage’s Marketing Automation Platform as part of it Tech-First strategy. Co-Founder and Chief Marketing & Experience Officer, Akasa Air, said Belson Coutinho, “We are pleased to partner with WebEngage and leverage its cutting-edge marketing automation platform to build brand loyalty, increase customer engagement and drive conversions with one-on-one communication. Vistara connects London Heathrow and Mumbai

Vistara announced the launch of a new route connecting London Heathrow and Mumbai commencing 1st June with a five times weekly frequency. The route will be operated by a three class Boeing 787-9. Vistara CEO Vinod Kannan said, “We are delighted to announce Mumbai-London as our fourth route to Europe after connecting Frankfurt, Paris, and London with Delhi. The launch of this new route is also a reflection of our customers’ growing preference for Vistara, for travel between India and the UK. This additional gateway also offers our customers more options and flexibility with their travel itineraries while choosing to fly the country’s most loved airline. We look forward to further expanding our presence in Europe, especially with more wide-body aircraft joining our fleet in the coming months.”
