IndiGo removes fuel surcharge

Ayodhya Airport granted Aerodrome License by DGCA

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) announced Ayodhya Airport has been granted the Aerodrome License by DGCA. The airport has 2200m long runway with complete Aeronautical Ground Lights (AGLs) infrastructure and is supported by Doppler Very High Frequency Omni Range (DVOR) & Instrument Landing System (ILS). The airport is located near the world famous the temple town, Ayodhya.

 

IndiGo removes fuel surcharge

IndiGo announced removal of fuel surcharge on ticket prices effective from 4th January 2024 citing a reduction in ATF costs. Indigo said in a statement “As ATF prices are dynamic, we will continue to adjust our fares and components thereof, to respond to any change in prices or market conditions.”

 

Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru reports steady growth in 2023

Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (BLR Airport) announced it has seen a notable growth in passenger numbers in CY 2023. The Airport handled a total of 37.2 million passengers in 2023, marking a 35.3% increase compared prior year. 32.7 million were domestic passengers and 4.5 million travelled to international destinations, with Dubai, Singapore, and Doha emerging as the top sectors. The airport's strategic focus on global connectivity continues to position it as a key gateway for travel across South and Central India.
