Acasta Enterprises’ Aviation Company Announces Deal to Lease Four Airbus C295 Aircrafts to Humanitarian Assistance Organization Stellwagen announced 5th December agreement to lease four Airbus C295 aircraft to DAC Aviation a premier humanitarian operator. DAC Aviation will commence humanitarian operations with two aircraft in Q1 2018 operating in Africa. This partnership allows the humanitarian missions to safely operate the new, multiple-use aircraft in austere African environments and immediately provide a new standard of relief services to people in peril. AerCap and Neos Celebrate the Delivery of the Airline’s First Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner AerCap announced 18 December the delivery of a new Boeing 787-9, on lease to Neos SpA. The airline will be the first Italian operator of the Dreamliner aircraft. AerCap will deliver to the airline a further two 787-9s in 2018. AerCap is the world’s largest customer of the 787, with a total of 116 aircraft owned and on order. AerCap Appoints New Head of Investor Relations AerCap announced 18 December the appointment of Joseph McGinley as Head of Investor Relations. Joseph has almost 10 years’ experience in financial markets, most recently as a Senior Credit Analyst with Davy Capital Markets in Dublin. There, he had primary responsibility for credit coverage of the aircraft leasing, airlines, utilities and renewables sectors. In addition, he previously worked in various roles across Davy Private Clients as well as with Danske Bank. Joseph holds a BBLS degree from University College Dublin, and has been a CFA® charterholder since 2013. AerCap Sells $0.8 Billion Aircraft Portfolio AerCap announced 19 December that it has signed an agreement to sell a 21-aircraft portfolio to Peregrine Aviation Company Limited an investment entity established by NCB Capital. NCB Capital has $37bn of assets under management and is the brokerage arm of the National Commercial Bank, the largest bank in Saudi Arabia. The 21-aircraft portfolio consists of a mix of wide-body and narrow-body aircraft. As part of the sale, AerCap will provide lease management services to Peregrine and will retain an equity interest in the entity. Amedeo Completes Management Buyout of Majority Investor Amedeo announced 19 December that it has completed a management buyout of its majority shareholder Pine Brook, a private investment firm focused on building businesses in the energy and financial services sectors. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed. CDB Aviation Completes Delivery of Initial Five New A320neo Aircraft to GoAir CDB Aviation announced that on December the delivery of two new Airbus A320neo aircraft to GoAir. The two aircraft represent the delivery of initial five of a total of 14 A320neos placed on long-term lease with the airline as part of a Purchase and Leaseback transaction announced on November 20. The remaining nine aircraft will be delivered to GoAir through the end of 2019. CDB Aviation Delivers First of Two New A321-200 Aircraft to Finnair CDB Aviation announced 15 December the delivery of the first of two new Airbus A321-200 aircraft on long-term lease to the flag carrier and largest airline of Finland, Finnair. The aircraft are part of the carrier’s fleet growth plans and are expected to support the increase in capacity in feeder traffic to support the previously announced expansion in long-haul capacity. CDB Aviation Delivers Second A321-200 To Asiana Airlines CDB Aviation announced that on December 18 the delivery of a second new Airbus A321-200 aircraft to South Korean carrier Asiana Airlines. The aircraft will be sub-leased to the airline’s subsidiary Air Seoul, representing the first new Airbus aircraft to join the low-cost carrier’s all-A321 fleet. Intrepid Announces Acceptance of Final 777-300ER from Boeing Intrepid Aviation confirmed 18 December the acceptance of a new 777-300ER aircraft from the Boeing Company and its delivery on long-term lease to Philippine Airlines.Upon delivery, the aircraft was acquired from Intrepid by the Singapore-based lessor, Avation PLC. SKY Leasing Announces Their Thirty-Fifth Aircraft Closing SKY Aviation Leasing International Limited announced 12 December it’s next evolutionary step as a lessor by adding an Airbus A320-271neo to their portfolio. This DOM 2017, direct from manufacturer aircraft is on long-term lease to IndiGo. The transaction marks SKY's first neo and 35th aircraft closing. Acumen Aviation © 2 January All Rights Reserved.
