AerCap Leases 7 Airbus A350 Aircraft to Delta Air Lines AerCap announced it has executed agreements with Delta Air Lines for the long-term lease of seven Airbus A350-900 aircraft, delivering in Q3 and Q4 of 2021. All seven aircraft are powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-84 engines. Milestone announces Purchase Leaseback with NHV for a AW169 helicopter Milestone Aviation has signed a Purchase/Leaseback (PLB) arrangement for a AW169 helicopter with Belgian-based operator, NHV Group. François Arnaud, SVP Commercial Europe and Latin America at Milestone, said, “This is an exciting deal for Milestone as it marks our ninth aircraft with NHV and our first AW169 delivery to NHV. It is also our second deal announcement with them this year. We are proud to continue building our strong partnership with NHV as a trusted leasing advisor.” Montrose Global announces the formation of MONTE Aircraft Leasing Limited to focus on financing zero-emission aircraft Montrose Global announced the formation of a new aircraft leasing company, MONTE Aircraft Leasing Limited, which will focus exclusively on the financing and leasing of zero-emission aircraft. MONTE Aircraft Leasing Limited has signed a cooperation agreement with Tecnam Aircraft Limited to provide bespoke financing and leasing solutions to customers of Tecnam’s P-Volt Electric Aircraft. SMBC Aviation Capital announces appointment of Chief Commercial Officer SMBC Aviation Capital announced the appointment of Barry Flannery as Chief Commercial Officer. SMBC Aviation Capital CEO Peter Barrett stated “I am delighted to announce the appointment of Barry as our new Chief Commercial Officer and greatly look forward to working with him in the role. This role will make us more efficient and position us well for our next stage of growth.” SMBC Aviation Capital delivers Boeing 737-8 MAX to flydubai SMBC Aviation Capital announced the delivery of one (1) Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft (MSN 60992) equipped with two (2) CFM LEAP-1B28 engines to flydubai. The Aircraft is the first of seven (7) Boeing 737-8 MAX units to be delivered with the remaining aircraft are scheduled for delivery in the coming months.
