Azorra takes delivery of its first new Airbus A220 Azorra announce that it has delivered one new Airbus A220-300, MSN 55129, on long-term lease to airBaltic. This aircraft is Azorra’s first A220 and the first of three new A220s to be delivered to airBaltic as part of a sale and leaseback transaction with Azorra. Azorra Chief Executive Officer John Evans said “We are delighted to take delivery of our first A220 and at the same time welcome airBaltic as a new Azorra customer. The A220’s superior economics and environmental efficiency make this aircraft an ideal fit for Azorra’s growing portfolio. We appreciate airBaltic’s trust in Azorra and we look forward to supporting their fleet needs.” Goshawk extends $500m secured warehouse facility to 2023 Goshawk announced the extension of its $500m secured warehouse facility. This facility, originally put in place in 2015, is now extended to July 2023 and provides flexible capital that can be used to finance Goshawk’s target asset types of primarily young, new technology, narrow body aircraft. Goshawk entered the extension agreement with HSBC as lead arranger and lender, and Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking as lender. The terms of the extension will assist Goshawk in maintaining its healthy liquidity position while retaining the flexibility to grow its fleet in line with its commercial strategy. IAI and GECAS Begin First Boeing 777-300ERSF Passenger to Freighter Conversion Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has begun the structural modification phase in the conversion of the first Boeing 777-300ERSF, in partnership with GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS). The beginning of the conversion marks the end of the development process and the start of the structural and systems modification phase. The conversion process will take approximately 130 days, at the end of which the passenger aircraft will be turned into a freighter aircraft. GECAS SVP & Manager Cargo Rich Greener, said "This milestone represents GECAS’s foresight and dedication to the air cargo market. This is a very well thought out and credible program combining GECAS’s and IAI’s experience in developing a very efficient freighter to meet the current and future air cargo requirements." Milestone provides two Airbus H145 to ‘Ultramarine’ expedition ship The Milestone Aviation Group has announced that it is providing two Airbus H145 helicopters to Quark Expeditions, the leader in Polar Adventures. The aircraft will be stationed on the dual heli-decks of Quark Expedition’s brand-new Ultramarine expedition ship and will be used to provide passengers with unique adventure opportunities in the Polar Regions. Described as the most immersive polar helicopter program, the aircraft will be used for activities such as heli-hiking, heli-supported kayaking, and trekking. NAC delivers one Embraer E190, MSN 19000101, to Breeze Airways on lease Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) announced the delivery of one Embraer E190, MSN 19000101 to Breeze Airways on lease. SMBC Aviation Capital delivers Boeing 737-8 MAX to FlyDubai SMBC Aviation Capital announced the delivery of one (1) Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft (MSN 60993) equipped with two (2) CFM LEAP-1B28 engines to FlyDubai.
