CDB Aviation Receives Shareholder Capital Injection  

CDB Aviation announced that the lessor has received a capital injection of $123 million from its shareholder CDB Leasing. CDB Leasing noted in an official filing to the Hong Kong stock exchange that “The capital injection is in line with the business positioning and strategic development planning of the Group, which will help CDB Aviation consolidate its foundation for development, effectively offset risks, enhance its market competitiveness and achieve sustainable development.”
 

Genesis secures $215 million Term Loan

Genesis announced it has successfully closed a new six-year $215 million Term Loan. The lessor stated the  proceeds raised will be used to refinance existing aircraft and releases the company’s warehouse capacity to support future growth. The portfolio consists of 28 mid-to end-of-life aircraft on lease to 17 different airline customers in 11 countries. Genesis CFO Adam Smyth stated, "The success of this portfolio refinance at attractive terms is a further step in our growth plan post covid and furthers investor confidence in our platforms ability to manage aircraft across the life cycle."
 

NAC executes engine purchase agreement

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) announced that it has executed a purchase agreement for one LEAP-1B and one CFM56-5B with SMBC Aero Engine Lease BV on lease to TUI and Cebu Pacific respectively.

Vmo Aircraft Leasing Completes Sale and Leaseback Boeing 737 MAX 8 Aircraft Transaction

Vmo Aircraft Leasing announced the successful execution of a sale and leaseback transaction for one Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with Latvia-based operator SmartLynx Airlines .The aircraft delivered to the airline in late October. Vmo Aircraft Leasing Chief Commercial Officer Peter Watson said “This transaction establishes a new partnership with one of Europe’s leading ACMI operators. We are pleased to partner with SmartLynx on this transaction and look forward to continued growth opportunities. We thank the whole SmartLynx team for enabling us to complete the deal quickly.”
