Ashland Place Completes 5-Aircraft Financing for HPS Investment Partners and Sirius Aviation Capital

Ashland Place Finance announced the execution of a new financing transaction involving three Boeing 737-700s and two Airbus A320-200s for HPS Investment Partners and Sirius Aviation Capital Holdings Limited. Air New Zealand and Southwest Airlines Co. are currently the lessees of the aircraft under operating lease agreements. Sirius Aviation Capital CFO Kieran Ryan, said "Sirius is pleased to close this financing facility with Ashland Place. Working in collaboration with their team continues to benefit our clients and partners. The successful conclusion of this debt transaction is a continued endorsement of the market for mid-life, single-aisle aircraft and Sirius's approach to targeting top-tier lessees."

DAE successfully acquires SKY Fund I Irish Ltd

On Friday, November 18, Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) announced that it had successfully acquired the fleet of 36 airplanes that SKY Fund I Irish, Ltd. and its subsidiaries were leasing to 14 airlines in 11 countries. This acquisition had been previously publicized. DAE’s fleet will grow to 500  owned, managed, committed, and mandated-to-manage aircraft. Dubai Aerospace CEO Firoz Tarapore, said “This acquisition of mainly next generation, fuel-efficient aircraft supports our continued growth and furthers our commitment to invest in new technology aircraft, reducing the emissions intensity of our overall fleet. We are delighted to welcome our new airline relationships to the business, and deepen our relationship with existing airline customers.”

 

Flynas receives the first two of AviLease's twelve Airbus A320neo aircraft

The first two of AviLease's twelve Airbus A320neos on lease to Saudi carrier flynas were successfully delivered. The remaining aircraft will be delivered to the carrier before the end of the next year. AviLease CEO Edward O'Byrne, said “Today marks a significant moment in our story, and speaks to the operational pace and excellence we have set for ourselves at AviLease. From day one, we have focused on getting down to business, and these two deliveries, within four months of beginning operations, are testament to that. But this is just the start, as we look to support the burgeoning local aviation sector and drive sustainable value. LCI signs sustainability charter with Aircraft Leasing Ireland

LCI has signed Aircraft Leasing Ireland’s (ALI) Sustainability Charter. Signatories are committed to driving forward and achieving Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) related goals, centred around 10 priority sustainability principles.
