CALC Selects Pratt & Whitney Engines to power Airbus A320neo order

Pratt & Whitney announced  that China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited has entered into a memorandum of understanding to select GTF engines to power an additional 10 firm Airbus A320neo aircraft, with options for up to 50 aircraft, bringing their total to 40 firm GTF-powered aircraft. CALC Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Mike Poon, said “CALC maintains a quality portfolio of popular new generation aircraft with fuel efficiency. GTF-powered A320neo family aircraft are a key part of our portfolio, offering our airline customers world-class fuel efficiency and emissions, resulting in lower operating costs.”

 

EFW and Tianjin Haite announce A321P2F conversion collaboration

Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH (EFW) and Tianjin Haite Aircraft Engineering Co., LTD. (Tianjin Haite) signed an agreement on the cooperation framework for Airbus A321 Passenger-to-Freighter (P2F) conversions at the Paris-Le Bourget International Air and Space Exhibition, commencing this August. at Haite in Tianjin to execute the cargo conversion.

 

Liebherr and HAECO expand landing gear service agreement in China

Liebherr-Aerospace and HAECO announced the expansion of their ARJ21 landing gear service offer in China. As the popularity of the ARJ21-700 Xiangfeng continues to grow in China, with 100 aircraft in operation and its first customer outside of China in Indonesia, Liebherr-Aerospace and HAECO are collaborating to meet the increased demand for landing gear maintenance services. To further optimize slot availability for all ARJ21-700 and ARJ21F operators, Liebherr-Aerospace plans to expand its landing gear service capacities with its manufacturing partner in China.
