China's SF Airlines expands fleet to 66 freighters SF Airlines announced the induction of a B767-300BCF all-cargo freighter to its fleet inceasing to a total of 66 aircraft. The B767-300BCF long-range widebody freighter will support SF Airlines in expanding its global network, and will enhance the company's express delivery capacity and performance during peak seasons. HAECO ITM And China Airlines Extend Partnership HAECO ITM announced that the company has extended its long-standing agreement with China Airlines to provide inventory technical management support to the airline’s expanding Boeing 777 fleet. The new agreement will run until 2029 and includes the addition of six Boeing 777F aircraft, while the first two aircraft were delivered in December 2020 and all aircraft will be entering into service by 2023. JD Logistics adds air cargo route from Shenzhen to Beijing JD Logistics has added a new air cargo route from Shenzhen to Beijing. The new route commenced 8th June operated by a Boeing 737-300SF aircraft to help shorten the fulfillment time in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Area, and the Great Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau. John Menzies plc Expansion into Chinese Cargo Market John Menzies announced that it has agreed a £3.4m investment to acquire a minority equity stake, by way of a joint venture, in Guangzhou JFreight Aviation Logistics Supply Chain Co. Ltd. The joint venture will see Menzies manage and operate a new cargo terminal at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in China, one of the world’s busiest airports, on behalf of the shareholders of JFreight. Spain must develop Asian market to boost tourism, aviation sector says Spain needs to establish more links with long-haul travel destinations and tap into the burgeoning Asian market to help boost its flagging tourism sector. "Betting on China will be a game-changer," senior tourism ministry official Fernando Valdes told an event organised by Spain's ALA airlines association.
