Akasa Air unveils its brand identity with 'The Rising A' symbol Akasa Air revealed its much-anticipated brand identity with the unveiling of its ‘Rising A’ symbol and tagline, ‘It’s Your Sky’. With India’s youngest and greenest fleet, the Akasa Air brand is built upon a clear promise to deliver a warm, reliable, and affordable travel experience. The Rising A is inspired by elements from the sky. It symbolises the warmth of the rising sun, the effortless flight of a bird and the dependability of an aircraft wing. ‘It’s Your Sky’ is the brand’s promise to embrace everyone and to create an inclusive environment for all Indians regardless of their socio-economic or cultural backgrounds. It is a powerful pledge of ownership, promise, and possibilities that accompany each traveller on their journeys. The brand colours, ‘Sunrise Orange’ and ‘Passionate Purple’ reflect the airline’s warm, youthful, and respectful nature. It is our promise to all, regardless of backgrounds or beliefs, that it’s your sky, your dreams, your passions, and your personal journey, and Akasa Air is honoured to be a part of it.” BOC Aviation Delivers Last Of Eight Airbus A320Neo Aircraft To IndiGo BOC Aviation announced that it has delivered the last of eight Airbus A320NEO aircraft to InterGlobe Aviation Ltd under a purchase-and-leaseback agreement signed earlier this year. The aircraft will be powered by CFM Leap engines. Mr. Steven Townend, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, BOC Aviation, said “The delivery of these eight aircraft reflects the strong cooperation that we have established with IndiGo, India’s largest passenger airline. We look forward to building on our relationships with major airline partners such as IndiGo, as we continue to support our airline customers in financing their aircraft deliveries.” The Ministry of Civil Aviation issues draft National Air Sports Policy The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MOCA) issued a draft National Air Sports Policy (NASP) to leverage India's potential for air sports, given its large geographical expanse, diverse topography and fair weather conditions. The draft NASP 2022 covers sports such as aerobatics, aeromodelling, ballooning, drones, gliding, hang gliding, paragliding and skydiving. An Air Sports Federation of India (ASFI) will be established as the apex governing body, according to the draft NASP. Ventura AirConnect to relaunch intra-state flights from Surat Ventura AirConnect will launch daily intra-state flights from the Surato four other cities effect from 1st January to  Ahmedabad (60-minute flight), Bhavnagar (30 minutes), Rajkot (60 minutes) and Amreli (45 minutes) operated by Cessna 208 aircraft. Vinod Kannan takes over as CEO at Vistara Vinod Kannan took over as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Vistara Airlines. Kannan replaced Leslie Thng who was the CEO from July 16, 2017 to December 31, 2021.
