Air China Launches Beijing and Chengdu Services to Brussels
Air China launched new direct services connecting Beijing and Brussels on 24 March with daily flights, followed by a Chengdu–Brussels route on 26 March operating three times weekly. The new routes strengthen Brussels Airport’s position as a key European hub and enhance connectivity between China and Europe for both business and leisure travellers.
Cathay Pacific Launches Hong Kong–Seattle Route
Cathay Pacific introduced a five-times weekly non-stop service between Hong Kong and Seattle using Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The new route strengthens links between two major global innovation hubs while expanding Cathay’s long-haul network and reinforcing Hong Kong’s role as a global aviation hub.
China Southern Launches Beijing–Helsinki Service
China Southern Airlines commenced its direct Beijing–Helsinki service on 29 March, initially operating three times weekly from Beijing Daxing International Airport. The route enhances connectivity between North China and Northern Europe and is expected to drive increased passenger and business travel flows between the regions.
