China Airlines partners with Palais  

China Airlines announced a new partnership with the only three star Michelin restaurant in Taiwan ‘Palais’ to launch a new “Skyward 3-Stars Private Cuisine” in-flight menu. The new menu will be introduced on its Europe and North American route network. China Airlines President Kao Shing-Hwang “To partner with the Le Palais restaurant of Palais de Chine Hotel and become the first airline to serve three starred Michelin meals for all cabin classes was a tremendous honour. On the China Airlines Europe or North America routes, passengers can enjoy the three starred cuisine of Le Palais even when flying Economy Class.”

China Eastern Airlines (CEA) to rebuilds route network

China Eastern Airlines (CEA) has resumed service on 70 international and regional routes by mid-April, with an average of 844 flights a week, up sixty percent from March. In last week the airline carried a total of 103,300 passengers and plans to rollout on average 44 new flights per week across its route network.

Hanian Airlines and ITA Airways announce new partnership

Hanian Airlines and ITA Airways announced a new partnership agreement effective from 21 April increasing connectivity between both countries, for business and leisure market segments. Hainan Airlines will apply its "HU" code on seven domestic routes from Rome-Fiumicino hub to Bari, Bologna, Catania, Florence, Naples, Turin and Venice and on two international routes to Athens and Paris CDG.

Sichuan Airlines connects Budapest and Chengdu 

Chinese carrier Sichuan Airlines has launched a new route between Budapest and Chengdu operating three times weekly operated by Airbus A330-200P2F aircraft to tap the increasing e-commerce and general import-export market segments. Budapest Airport  Chief Development Officer, René Droese said: “As a result of the excellent joint work with our cargo community, Budapest Airport’s role as a gateway for air cargo in Central and Eastern Europe is growing rapidly, especially to Asia, including China. We are seeing increasing demand for new cargo routes and for increased capacity on existing routes, and we plan to expand our cargo connections, besides Asia, to Western Europe and the transatlantic region as well. We are delighted to welcome Sichuan Airlines to Budapest and wish them every success.”
